Midnight Woes (and Poems)

In times of calamity, one often watches in muted horror. Or mainly, in indifferent silence, as if their mind is a calm lake, untouched by the ripples around it. The clock ticks, and the world screams unheard. Two poems about inaction, and the exploration of a mind who pleads righteousness, and at the same time, no concern.
