Terms and conditions

Please read these Terms before using Loreum. These Terms are between you and Pooki, Inc. ("Pooki", "we", "us").

1. Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using Loreum, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Loreum.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Loreum. If you are between 13 and 17, you should use Loreum only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Loreum

Loreum is an app for reading, creating, and exploring stories and related content. We are a small team, and the app may change as we improve it.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login information safe. Please tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You agree not to impersonate anyone, provide false information, or use Loreum in a way that harms the service or other users.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the stories, text, images, files, and other content you create or upload to Loreum.

By submitting content, you confirm that you have the right to use it. You give Pooki permission to host, store, process, display, and technically adapt your content only as needed to operate, improve, and protect Loreum.

5. Prohibited uses

Please do not use Loreum to:

• break the law or violate someone else's rights;
• harass, threaten, exploit, or harm anyone;
• upload illegal, hateful, sexual content involving minors, or otherwise abusive content;
• infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights;
• reverse engineer, scrape, overload, attack, or interfere with Loreum;
• bypass security, access limits, payment rules, or moderation systems.

We may remove content, limit access, or suspend accounts if needed to protect Loreum or enforce these Terms.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

If Loreum offers paid features, purchases made in the iOS app are handled by Apple App Store and purchases made in the Android app are handled by Google Play. Their payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules apply.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

7. App stores

Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for Loreum, our content, support, claims, or maintenance. Your use of Loreum must also follow the applicable App Store or Google Play terms.

For iOS users, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them where applicable.

8. Intellectual property

Loreum, including the app, website, design, software, brand, and related materials, belongs to Pooki, Inc. or our licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of Loreum.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Loreum is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that Loreum will always be available, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pooki, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill.

10. Ending use

You can stop using Loreum at any time. You can request account or data deletion by contacting us at contact@loreum.app.

We may suspend or end access to Loreum if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or others, or if we discontinue part of the service.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, except for conflict-of-law rules. Some places give users mandatory local rights, and these Terms do not take those rights away.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as Loreum changes. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version.
